Even in Leap Years, February is the shortest month. If you’re in the Northern Hemisphere, you can be glad for that because spring officially begins next month. Of course, we’ll have to wait to see what the various designated groundhogs have to say about that.

The next major event for SCS is a day-long workshop on “Using Guided Imagery for Surgical Support,” to be held at the Borgess Health and Fitness Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan. For more information about how you can benefit from attending, download the the flier in PDF format.

After that, we’ll be in Lexington, Kentucky, at the end of March for the ICIM conference. We will do an all-day workshop on anchoring and a shorter presentation on uncovering and changing hidden beliefs. We’ll say more about this next month. Our new websites, Imagine Healing, and Using Guided Imagery for Surgical Support, have been attracting a lot of favorable attention. When you look now, you’ll see why. Imaginehealing.info is the website for patients, providing information about the possibilities of healing for those who desire a healing for themselves or for loved ones. Surgicalsupport.info is the website for professionals. Research, hints for language use to eliminate white-coat syndrome, and all the information you need to use guided imagery to help others (although you may find it helpful for yourself as well) prepare for such medical procedures as surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, dialysis, and other medical interventions.

Why SCS?

We (Debra and Joel) developed Subtle Communication Systems to answer our own questions about how best to create and maintain a peaceful, and harmonious environment for ourselves and for others. We had to go through a lot of personal chaos and turmoil to develop the right combination of skills that have allowed us to stop the “mud wrestling” we used to do and create more harmony and synergy.
