The SCS program includes a wide variety of integrated seminars and workshops. This page is designed to provide a brief overview of the program components and the benefits you will receive. All SCS workshops and training programs now include appropriate components and applications of TimeWarp Technology™ to maximize the impact of the training you receive.

SCS Introductory and Advanced Programs
The complete SCS program can be taken for personal development, for professional enhancement, or for certifications qualifying individuals for membership in Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP), Licensed Practitioner or Master Practitioner of NLP, and certified hypnotherapist through the American Board of Hypnotherapy (ABH)— everything you need for a well-rounded holistic practice. When you complete the entire program, you may choose to go on to be certified as SCS Trainers. The program may be just what you are seeking for your own growth and development as a healer.
Healing with Energy—SCS Level 1
Healing with Energy is designed to provide an overview of Energy Medicine. The two-day workshop covers ways of perceiving and working with the components of the human energy field, including the aura, chakras, and meridians. It also covers a number of standard Energy-based techniques and orients participants to the best-known modalities, such as Healing Touch™, Therapeutic Touch™ Reiki, and shamanism. The workshop also provides directed practice of a number of hands-on healing techniques, including use of a massage table for specific applications.
This introductory workshop may be taken for either personal reasons (such as self-care or working with family and friends), as the first step leading to professional certification, or as a natural complement to your current professional practice (physical therapist, occupational therapist, message therapist, social worker, psychotherapist, or other health-related occupation).
Those who already have a background in Energy Medicine may wish to consider the Fast-Track Special to receive appropriate credit for previous certifications and clinical experience.
Healing with Language—SCS Level 2
Healing with Language is designed to provide an introduction to neurolinguistics, the therapeutic uses of language. This three or four-day workshop (depending on the length of the days) covers the fundamentals of how people perceive the environment and create and maintain beliefs. Participants learn how language communicates what individuals are aware of in consciousness and what is outside their conscious awareness. It also covers techniques to help you use language to create an appropriate opening for healing to occur and the common linguistic patterns that exacerbate problems and amplify fears.
This introductory workshop may be taken before Healing with Energy or as an introduction to the more extensive NLP certification programs, Licensed Practitioner and Licensed Master Practitioner. The first three or four days of any of the NLP Practitioner and/or Master Practitioner intensives may substitute for SCS Level 2 training.
Those who already have a background in Neurolinguistic Programming may wish to consider the Fast-Track Special to receive appropriate credit for previous certifications and clinical experience.
Healing with Energy and Language—SCS Level 3A
Healing with Energy and Language is designed to teach participants how to integrate the energy work and language usage. This three-day workshop reinforces and deepens concepts learned in SCS Levels 1 and 2 and introduces a number of advanced techniques, including working within the client’s religious belief system, strategies for enhancing relationships, the shamanistic techniques of soul retrieval and spirit release, working with “dark energies,” and the use of ritual to help set and amplify conscious intent.
SCS Level 3A may be taken for reasons of personal enhancement, or it may be taken as part of the certification program. Those who complete SCS Level 3A and intend to complete certification will participate in a six-month mentoring program before taking SCS Level 3B. Completion of 3A also qualifies you for Reiki 1 and 2 certification. Certification at the Master/Teacher level requires additional training.
Healing with Energy and Language—SCS Level 3B
The six months of mentoring following completion of 3A will be determined in consultation with the SCS Trainer on an individual basis. Previous training and desired outcomes will be considered in choosing activities that will best serve your purposes. Following the mentoring program, SCS Level 3B will consist of two days of training emphasizing business practices and professional and business ethics.
Completion of the SCS Program, whether through completion of SCS Levels 1, 2, 3A and 3B, or through the Fast-Track option, leads to certification as an SCS Practitioner, which qualifies you for practitioner-level membership in Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP), one of the largest and best-known providers of liability coverage for massage therapists and energy workers.
Licenses for alternative therapies or therapies in the field of “holistic health” vary greatly from state to state, and, in some cases, having an additional professional license may be necessary. Many energy workers, including those certified in Reiki or Healing Touch™, elect ordination to meet state requirements. To ensure that certification in a particular program will meet your needs, be sure to check the laws in the place you intend to practice.
Those who already have an established clinical practice may wish to consider the Fast-Track Special to receive appropriate credit for previous certifications and clinical experience.
Earn Certification as a Reiki Master
SCS is now offering certification in Reiki up to Third Degree Reiki Master level. For more information about Reiki training, see Earn Certification in Reiki through SCS.
Certification in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP)
Although NLP has a broad range of applications, our emphasis is on the use of NLP strategies and techniques in healing body, mind, and spirit. NLP is useful for personal development and self-understanding or for increasing your effectivenes with others in a varity of settings, including therapy (physical, emotional/mental, and spiritual), education (teaching and learning), and relationships (personal and business).
We provide training leading to both Certification as a Licensed Practitioner of NLP and Certification as a Licensed Master Practitioner of NLP through Richard Bandler and the Society of NLP. Those who are new to using language for healing are eligible for Practitioner certification in NLP. To qualify for Master Practitioner, you need to have completed Practitioner level training within the last five years (a copy of your certificate is required).
NLP training is available in a variety of formats and usually consists of a Comprehensive Introduction followed by additional instruction for certification. We provide pre- and post-training support through a comprehensive online educational program, e-mail support, Skype, and video-based instruction.
We also offer a four specific applications based on neurolinguistics:
Sell-Buy-ology™: Sell-Buy-ology™ focuses on understanding and influencing your own behavioral patterns and those of others in both interpersonal and group situations. Selling and buying are a natural process and part of what is often called “the dance of Life.” This skill set includes common business applications, such as the buying and selling process, motivation, meeting management, decision-making strategies, and leadership skills.
Radical Healing—On All Levels, for All Time: The principal impetus behind “Radical Healing” is on using language to promote your own health and well-being of body, mind, and spirit—as well as the health and well-being of others. This module focuses on personal and relationship enhancement, including your sense of Holistic Wealth and ability to manifest abundance in all aspects of life: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual through TimeWarp Technologies™ and the application of NLP to healing your DNA. This module also includes certification in Pre- and Postsurgical with SCS™. See details below.
Classroom Classics: One of the initial applications of NLP was in education. “Classroom Classics,” is designed to facilitate your using NLP techniques to enhance the effectiveness of your strategies for teaching and learning. This module focuses on the techniques that make teaching and learning fun and effective. Although created to meet the needs of classroom teachers, the same techniques apply to teaching and learning in all settings, whether parents and children or corporate training.
Relationship Dynamics—Dynamic Relationships™: Most people—and you may be one of them—vastly underestimate the complexity of relationships, both business and personal. Personality sorters, such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the Enneagram, tell only part of the story. Understanding behavioral types will help you move from the Drama Triangle to the Cognitive Triangle, but a deeper understanding is required to reach what we call the Transrational Pyramid. This training will help you see all your relationships from a completely new perspective.

Pre- and Postsurgical Support with SCS™
Pre- and Postsurgical Support with SCS™ is designed to help individuals facing surgery or major
illness promote their own health and well-being and to give caregivers—including medical
support staff, therapists, friends, and relatives—the tools they need to provide
effective support. This two-day program provides specific training in the use of guided imagery
and altered states to facilitate relaxation, health, and well-being for the whole person—in
body, mind, and spirit.

The Power of Presence: Seeing the Divine in Everyday Life
What stops you from being more joyful more of the time? The great psychologist
William James said, “Compared with what we ought to be, most of us are only half
awake. Our energy is far below the maximum.” The reasons for this are complex, actually
starting before we were born. This workshop is designed to facilitate your unraveling the
beliefs that have prevented your feeling fully awake and joyful and to help you claim
your rightful affiliation with the Divine, what nineteenth-century poet William Blake described
as seeing a World in a grain of sand, holding infinity in the palm of your hand, and
experiencing eternity in an hour.
You will benefit from this workshop if you are ready to give up the beliefs that have
limited your capacity for joyful living and if you are ready to experience more joy in your
life and develop your appreciation for the sacred. You will also benefit from this workshop
if you work with others—family, friends, patients, or clients—who have been
slow to change in ways they know would enhance their capacity for happiness and success.

of what you are doing and to help ensure that you will discover those things that enhance
your capacity for joyful living.
