You can now earn certification in Reiki through SCS. The video shows our
first group of graduates for Reiki 1 and 2. The weekend workshop was held at
Hospice at Home in St. Joseph, Michigan. Reiki is one of the oldest and most
respected forms of Energy Medicine.
You can complete certification for Levels 1 and 2 in just one weekend
(Saturday and Sunday). Certification at the Master Practitioner/Master
Teacher level (Reiki 3) requires another two days on a subsequent weekend
about a month following the initial training for Levels 1 and 2 and the
completion of a Reiki journal between certifications.
Levels 1 and 2 (First and Second Degree)
In the initial two days of training, you will learn key aspects of the history
of Reiki and the fundamentals of “hands-on” healing, including
the similarities between Reiki and other common forms of Energy-based healing,
such as Healing Touch™ Therapeutic Touch™ and Qigong. You will
learn the first three Reiki symbols, and receive the First- and Second-Degree
attunements.
Second-Degree certification allows you not only to work on family and friends, but
also to work on others and to promote yourself as a Reiki practitioner. Upon
completion, you will receive a certificate indicating your level of certification.
Level 3 (Third Degree Reiki Master)
In the subsequent training, you will learn the Third-Degree symbols, receive the
Third-Degree attunement, and learn the process of attuning others. While both
weekend sessions will provide time for directed practice, the second training
will allow for more experiential learning, questions, and answers.
